Description
Solution of silicone resin in organic solvents
Notes:
The use of KO-991-4 without drying catalyst is also possible.
This is responsibility of customer to specify the storage time of the lacquer with added promoter and fix it in the application instruction.

Applications
- Lacquer KO-991-4 is used with addition of drying catalyst 64B , or ZK-1, or ZK-12:
- 64B is introduced 12 hrs before the use of the lacquer at the rate of 6% to the base of lacquer and thoroughly stirred,
- ZK-1 and ZK-12 is introduced in the lacquer direct before use at the ratio ZK-1 /lacquer as 5,2 g/100 g und ZK-12/ lacquer as 2,6 g/100 g. The rate of ZK-1 can be reduced to 50% to improve adhesion of the lacquer to the substrate.
- Due to high adhesive capacity, KO-991-4 is used in the manufacture of mica-based insulating materials and glass fabrics.
